Fishing- and holiday village Merikoivula has been created in the Turku archipelago, Lokalahti between Turku and Uusikaupunki. In 2020, on an area of 15 hectares were built 7 new Villas, the original log-houses and Holm villas have been upgraded in accordance with modern customer requirements.Merikoivula has its own customer marina with motorboats for rent, and after a successful fishing trip, the catch can be gutted at the clearing tables in the harbor and barbecue hut. If you have your own boat, you will find a concrete ramp next to the dock. The price of the rental boat also includes a tank of fuel. There is a barbecue room, smoke ovens and grills for making fish. A rather awesome Kamado Joe grill can be found on the terrace of each villa. There are also two saunas - a sauna for 15 people in connection with the meeting and an six-person seaside sauna Holm. The meeting room can accommodate a maximum of 60 people and whole Village can accommodate 100 people. In addition, Merikoivula has two tennis courts, a football and volleyball courts, as well as a children's playground and a fitness area for the use of customers. It is 230 km from Helsinki, 65 km from Turku and 16 km from Uusikaupunki or 7 km by boat.
