In the the southern part of the Finnish Lake District, just a two and a half hours’ drive from Helsinki, Rock and Lake offers fishing trips on two big, clean and rugged lakes, Kyyvesi and Puula. The fishing boats are modern and well equipped. The captains are trained fishing guides.
Lake Puula, elected to the Southern Savonia's provincial lake, has clear water and is famous for its big pikes, salmon and trout. Lake Kyyvesi is probably the best lake in Finland for fishing big zander. Kyyvesi is also very rich in big pikes.
If you want to fish independently on lake Kyyvesi you can rent the well-equipped Rock and Lake -fishing boat. In the boat’s chartplotter you find the best routes and places for fishing. More about the rental boat at the Rock and Lake online webshop.
In the 3 km long lake Soukkio, you can also fish salmon and pike for free when renting one of the cottages on the shore of this lake. Other nearby fishing places for independent fishing are the rapids Nykälänkoski, Rauhavirta and Läsäkoski.
For groups interested in combining meetings, sauna and fishing we have a venue called Kakkaramäki. It is recently repaired and offers modern meeting equipment and comfortable bedrooms. The sauna and Jacuzzi are also new, but in rough and unique style, and offers a bathing experience that you will remember. Our catering prepares delicious food both in the wilderness and the cottages and the venue.
